I am passionate about empowering women in leadership, with over 40 years of experience in local government and nonprofits, I've honed the skills to help women reach their potential. Through conferences, virtual interviews, workshops, and campaign schools, we foster confidence, values-driven leadership, and resilience. My journey from a challenging childhood to present, fuels my dedication to help women achieve and take their seat at the table. Born into poverty and abuse, my love for learning transformed my life and ignited my passion for public service.
Impact:
- Active on multiple Chamber committees for 24 years- 2000 to present, including 15 years -OBAA Committee.
- Organized one the most successful Queen's Park trip – 2015
- 14 years as Canadian Cancer Society Manager raised over $1M annually
- Created The Jean Collective, a Woman in Politics Initiative in 2020; aided 20 women to run for public office, 7 elected.
- Hosted the first Women's Leadership conference in 2023 -100+ women; expanded to 3 sold out conferences - 2024
- Mentor at Women & Gender Studies & Politics at Kings College.
- Past Board Member of Bluewater Health; currently Patient Experience Council and committees.
- Board Member of Women's Interval Home.
- Huron Diocese Congregational Coach, working with churches in SW Ontario.
