Here is why I am an outstanding Member of the Chamber of Commerce

I proudly co-chair the Women in Business Committee for the Chamber of Commerce where I get the honour of booking our amazing speakers each month to come and speak to those who support women in business. We are a welcoming and inclusive committee encouraging all community members to attend our monthly events, to support and empower women in business as they share their challenges and triumphs with us. I love helping choose our speakers from a diverse background to inspire and share their journey with our larger community. I also enjoy participating in various other Chamber Events such as the Business After 5 and Lunch and Learns. Outside of the Chamber, and my 9-5 job, I coach U15 ladies baseball in Camlachie and sit on the board as treasurer for the Lambton Central Girls Softball League. I love helping to inspire and shape the young leaders of tomorrow and help them as they grow and realize their potential to support and empower others too. I do not take my role lightly as a role model for these young people in their impressionable lives, trying to leave each player a bit better athlete and a better person is my goal!
