I believe being an outstanding chamber member is about more than just showing up. It's what you do once you're there. I show up curious, I ask questions, and I genuinely want to get to know the people behind the businesses in our community. At every event, I set a little goal. Meet at least three new people. Learn who they are, what they do, and hear their story. I try to really make that time count. I love being a connector. Sometimes, that's introducing two people who should know each other, sometimes it's supporting a local business, and sometimes it's just helping someone feel like they belong in the room. I can't make every event, but when I'm there, I'm all in. I bring curiosity, positivity, and some quirkiness, plus a genuine desire to build a stronger, more connected business community. That's what the Chamber means to me: people supporting people, and I'm proud to be part of it.
